It's been a busy few months here at Altered Chic. I've been very busy working on a whole range of new products for 2010 as well as a new online venture which I hope to share with you very shortly.
I've spent today with my hands covered in paint working on our wooden letters. We are expanding our colour range to include not only white and cream but now also a pretty pastel blue & pink. These new colours are ideal for many areas of the home - sitting above a fireplace, hung on a wall, or to decorate a child's toybox.
We can produce the full alphabet (A-Z) in uppercase, numbers (0-9). We can also produce symbols such as @ or &, please drop me an email for details.
Our new colour range will be online by the end of the month but can be ordered straight away at any of our craft fairs.

Christmas Shopping...
It's only 5 weeks to Christmas so I'm sure you're all thinking of gifts and decorations.
Why not pop down to the Bakewell Craft Fair this weekend. We have a large selection of decorations including wreaths, tree decorations and bunting.
We also have plenty of items ideal for gifts - handmade soy candles, soap gift sets, diaries, bunting, wooden letters and much more.
You'll find us in the Brigade Hall (the Scout hall) through the gardens between 10.30am and 4.30pm Saturday and Sunday.

Handmade Soy Candles
We've been very busy here at Altered Chic creating and designing new products.
Our latest products available online are our Handmade Scented Soy Candles.
Currently available in six fragrances - French Vanilla, Night Blooming Jasmine, Starfruit & Mango, Green Apple, Sandalwood and Cool Summer Nights, these candles have a beautiful natural cream coloured finish to co-ordinate with any colour scheme.
Soy Candles also have many advantages over parafin wax candles. Soy is a renewable source, it is also bio-degradable so the wax can be washed away with soap and warm water allowing your holders to be re-used and any spilages cleaned up easily. Soy wax also burns more cleanly than parafin wax, with less soot, allowing the fragrance to fill your room.
Why not give them a try. Our candles are available in three sizes - a set of 6 tealights (burn time 4-6 hours each), votives (burn time 12 - 14 hours) and glass jar candles (burn time 25-35 hours).
